Linguistics • Education • Humanities

I am a program manager for the Script Encoding Initiative (SEI), a research project housed in the Department of Linguistics at the University of California, Berkeley. I am a graduate of the University of California, Irvine with a BA in Language Science and a minor in Italian Studies.

While my current work surrounds text encoding standards and research on digitally-disadvantaged writing systems, I also pursue projects related to my background in linguistics, anthropology, foreign languages, and education. In addition to my work at UC Berkeley, I work as a freelance editor for ELT ImageMakers, where I am currently working on a project for Helbling Publishing, a European publishing house specializing in English language teaching materials.
